Method:
Blend the flour and sugar in a saucepan.
Whisk in the egg and a little of the milk. Stir in the remaining milk.
Bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes, stirring all the time. Add
the vanilla essence, cover with a circle of wetted greaseproof (waxed)
paper and leave to cool. Spread over the pizza base and add your
chosen topping.
