225 g/8 oz strawberries, hulled and sliced 20 ml/4 tsp caster (superfine) sugar 1/2 lime 1/2 bottle of sparkling Spanish rose wine, chilled
Method:
Divide the strawberries between four champagne flutes. Sprinkle with the sugar and add a squeeze of lime juice to each. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
When ready to serve, top up with the wine and serve straight away.
