300 ml milk 30 ml/2 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch) 25 g/1 oz/2 tbsp unsalted (sweet) butter
30 ml/2 tbsp caster (superfine) sugar
15-30 ml/1-2 tbsp amaretto
Method:
Blend a little of the milk with the comflour in a saucepan. Add the remaining milk. Bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes, stirring. Stir in the butter and sugar, then add the amaretto to taste. Serve hot.
