15 ml/1 tbsp water
5 ml/1 tsp lemon juice
Caster (superfine) sugar
Method:
Simmer together all the ingredients
except the sugar in a covered saucepan until the apple is pulpy. Pass
through a sieve (strainer) or puree in a blender or food processor.
Return to the pan and sweeten to taste with caster sugar. Serve hot.
