Burnt Almond Cream Recipe

Ingredients: Serves 6

300 ml double (heavy) cream
30 ml/2 tbsp light brown sugar

50 g/2 oz flaked (slivered) almonds, well-toasted and crushed

1.5 ml almond essence (extract)

Method:

Whip together the ingredients until softly peaking. Spoon into a serving bowl and chill until ready to serve.
