100 g/4 oz unsalted (sweet) butter,
softened
100 g/4 oz caster (superfine) sugar
15 ml/1 tbsp brandy or sherry
50 g/2 oz ground almonds
Method:
Beat together the butter and sugar until
light and fluffy. Beat in the brandy or sherry and the almonds. Pile
into a serving bowl and chill before serving.
