25 g/1 oz/2 tbsp caster (superfine)
sugar
300 ml water
Juice of 2 lemons
Method:
Blend the cornflour and sugar with a
little of the water in a saucepan. Add the remaining water and the
lemon juice. Bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes, stirring, until
thickened and clear. Serve hot.
