Method:
Put the unopened can of condensed milk
in a saucepan of boiling water and simmer for at least 3 hours,
keeping the can submerged all the time. Allow to cool in the water.
(It's worth boiling several cans at a time, then storing in the
cupboard until ready to use.)
Mix the biscuit crumbs with the butter and press into a 20 cm/8 in
flan tin (pie pan). Chill until firm. Spread the cold caramelized milk
on the base. Top with banana slices. Whip together the cream, sugar
and coffee and spread or pipe over the bananas. Sprinkle with drinking
chocolate powder or grated chocolate and chill until ready to serve.
