Pancake with Chocolate Hazelnut Sauce Recipe

Ingredients: Serves 4

1 quantity of Simple Pancakes
175 g/6 oz plain (semi-sweet) chocolate
50 g/2 oz unsalted (sweet) butter

75 g/3 oz chopped hazelnuts (filberts)
Toasted whole hazelnuts, to decorate

Method:

Make the pancakes and keep warm on a plate over a pan of hot water. Break up the chocolate and place in a bowl with the butter and nuts. Stand the bowl over a pan of hot water and heat, stirring, until melted. Spoon over the pancakes and serve sprinkled with toasted hazelnuts.
