Method:
Melt the butter or margarine with the
sugar and spices in a flameproof dish. Add the bananas and turn to
coat completely. Leave to stand for at least 15 minutes. Place the
dish under a hot grill (broiler) for 5 minutes, turning the bananas
once, until just cooked and lightly golden. Transfer to plates and top
with scoops of ice cream and a sprinkling of chopped nuts.
