Steamed Egg Custard Recipe

Ingredients: Serves 4

2 eggs
15 ml/1 tbsp caster (superfine) sugar

450 ml/2 cups milk
Grated nutmeg

Method:

Beat together the eggs and sugar in a basin. Warm the milk and pour over, whisking all the time. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Steam for 1 1/4 hours until set. Serve warm or cold.
